Tender handling system

The “Tender Handling System” is a factory option that sounded very good on paper and seemed to be a very useful addition to the boat, despite a rather steep price tag. I ordered it and it turns out to be the only option that I took which I would not repeat. The system consists of a steel assembly to attach to the end of the transom which has rollers for the dinghy to slide up on and a jeep style automotive electric winch to pull the dinghy up into the garage with. I find myself using rubberized mats instead of the rollers and pulling up by hand to be more efficient. I am thinking of getting a somewhat larger dinghy and perhaps then this system will show some value.
