This year's Antigua Sailing Week races and regatta was a blast. I volunteered again (a glutton for punishment) and was assigned to Committee Boat “B” this time around, which has the charter boats and cruising boats participating rather than the big boys and the specialist racing boats. The crew was a different one again, although Stephen and Angela from last year also returned and were assigned to the same boat. Our race officer this year was Paul Miller, assisted by Clare. We had a great crew aboard and this made the actual work of starting and finishing the boats a relatively easy thing to do - many hands do indeed sometimes make for light work.
My allocated start duty was working the flags with Stephen and thus I didn't get any pictures at all of that portion of the races. For finishes assisted Clare in identifying boats coming up on the finish line; but since Clare really didn't need any help with that task except for a very few close finishes I found myself holding a camera rather than binoculars for much of the time and made the best of it.
The table that follows shows all of the boats that were racing via Committee Boat “B” and for which I managed to get at least one picture during the course of the races during Sailing Week.
