What is this? After anchoring I heard a noise and look off to the side to see this. At first glance I thought it was something drifting but then I recognized the sound of a badly tuned 2-stroke outboard and this thing started moving towards me! It turns out that there is someone inside who is selling fresh produce!

Fruit Basket That vendor I pictured on my arrival day sold me this - I wanted some plantain, a pineapple and a grapefruit and got this including the basket. He overcharged me for this, but he did work hard at selling so I let him get away with it (this time)

Shopping close to the Marina The Baywalk shopping mall and store area is only 30 minutes on foot from the marina at Rodney Bay. Or a quick dinghy ride or taxi trip away if walking in the rain or hot sun isn't your thing. I'll take a cab next time...

Fresh foods market Fresh produce at the open-air market in downtown Castries. The local produce is very tasty but I had enough aboard to last me a while and didn't get anything.

Back Streets Typical street in one of the fishing village. There has just been an election, the two main parties are identified by their flags - the "red" party (which won) and the "yellow" which lost power
