I woke up early this morning. I've only got a couple of Nespresso capsules left aboard so have switched to making my morning coffee with a Aeropress device which makes very good tasting coffee and once you get used to using the plunger it is also quite simple to make and easy to clean. The only downside compared to the Nespresso machine is the wait for the water in the kettle to boil.
I'm at Omar's right now to catch up on e-mail, but soon after I arrived the power failed and I'm hanging about waiting for the power and the Wi-Fi to be restored so I can send off my batch of e-mails and return to the boat.
Dinner tonight was with Malcolm and Candace at Gene's in Sea Cow Bay. I picked them up at their house, since the drive is a long one despite being only a couple of miles; and their old VW Kübelwagen ("The Thing") isn't as comfortable as my little rental jeep. Dinner was quite tasty and we sat outside in the protected cove until late.
