I began today feeling a bit better and began housework and planned on doing some stainless rust removal as part of the never-ending battle with oxidation. But I made a wrong move and despite the lumbar-support-brace I had a hot twinge and was forced to lie down again, leaving things only half-done. Since driving has not been a problem, I opted to drive to the laundry and pick up my cleaned clothes, then downtown for a bit of grocery shopping. There were two cruise ships at the docks so traffic was pretty bad. After shopping I drove over the hill via Cane Garden Bay to get back to the West End rather than take the shorter coastal road. A steady stream of open taxis filled with cruise ship guests passed me and the picture below shows how crowded Cane Garden Bay was. I chose to stop at Stoutt's Lookout on way back and encountered Candace and Malcolm there. They convinced me to try a cheeseburger and it was excellent and we talked as bus after bus of tourists arrived at the lookout. The guests disgorged, heading to the bathroom and took selfies at the lookout but only an intrepid few actually purchased a beverage at the lookout.
Later in the afternoon I went to Nanny Cay to take a long and hot shower and then meet old acquaintances at the bar, after that I returned to the boat and read for a bit since my back was still preventing me from doing much else.

Cane Garden Bay Today is a cruise ship day and Cane Garden Bay is packed with short-term guests. By 2-3 in the afternoon the beach will once again be empty as the cruise ship guests all head back to their boats
